| Summary of the conference: The International Offshore Wind Power Development Technology Forum 2012 (OWDCC 2012), hosted by the Wind Power Electrical Equipment Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association and hosted by the Ministry of Energy, will be held at the China Energy Policy Planning Center in Beijing from March 15 to 16, 2012. The conference will focus on hot topics such as new industry policy orientation and formulation, progress of the second round of concession bidding, international offshore wind power project experience sharing, offshore wind farm planning and site selection and design, offshore wind turbine key technologies, offshore wind farm infrastructure, transportation, installation, control systems, offshore wind turbine blades, offshore wind turbine transmission systems, and offshore wind farm operation and maintenance. This conference will gather more than 250 industry decision-makers, mainly from the relevant government agencies, offshore wind power developers, operators, utilities, offshore wind turbine manufacturers, wind turbine component manufacturers, engineering design units, engineering construction units, financial institutions, certification and testing agencies, engineering consulting companies and other institutions. This conference will set up a high-end level to explore China's offshore wind power development model and industrial development opportunities. |
